World Mastercard Fashion Week has wrapped up and all the excitement may be over, but the backstage beauty buzz lives on! I got a sneak peek of the Essie nail trends for Spring 2016 with Lead Nail Artist for essie Canada & Global Lead Educator, Rita Remark.

I love nude nails. They are classic and are always appropriate. Luckily nudes are also huge this season and for spring too. For the Lucian Matis show, Rita created a subtle but graphic nail to match the feminine, supermodel vibe of the collection. The exaggerated U-Shape tip takes the french manicure to a whole new level!
The finished result is a bit more graphic than a French manicure – it’s more clean, which is something we are going to see a lot of this spring – rotations of nail art that is just along the tip of the nail. We’re creating a new frame along the edge of the nail. I think it’s exciting!
