Capucci is located at 2254 Bloor Street West and it’s on the second floor. When I walked in I was amazed at how huge the space was! Quite deceiving when you see it from the outside!
I was well taken care of when I walked in. I was in the capable hands of one of the owners Ted. Since I have curly hair it’s kind of hard to go extreme with my cuts unless I want to spend a lot of time blow drying and straightening it but I am lazy and I really do like my curly hair so I just asked Ted to clean up the layers.

It’s hard to believe that Capucci has been around for 25 years! That says a lot about a business and they have obviously managed to stay modern and up to date with both the look of the salon as well hair techniques. Loyal and new customers can attest to that. As I was chatting with Ted he mentioned that his colleagues thought he and his business partners were crazy for moving from Yorkville (apparently that was the only place to go to get your hair done at a reputable salon) to the Bloor West Village area. But the gamble paid off and since I’m in the neighborhood I’m thankful they took the risk!
I love how my hair looks blown out! But I honestly don’t know what Ted did. He had all these different sizes of barrel brushes creating the perfect amount of curl to the ends of my hair. There’s no way I could do this myself! Just look at all the bounce my hair has in the back!

Some of my friends and family think I lead this glamorous life going to events and getting my hair and makeup done all the time. Of course this is a MAJOR perk of being a blogger and I’m thankful every moment! But sad to say that no, my life is not glamorous. I just went home and cooked dinner after this!
But…the hair held up quite well into the next day:
Thanks so much to Ted and the Capucci Salon team for being such gracious hosts!
