Last month I was honoured to help put together ROAR – an event envisioned by Sommer of Flirt Custom Lash.
Sommer wanted a way to give back to other women who have found strength through struggle and we were so happy to be able to work with WoodGreen.org and 5 ladies of the Homeward Bound program.
Together with a team of other amazing women generously helping out by donating their time and talent, our guests were treated to an afternoon of hair + makeup, style advice, a “shopping” spree and a photo shoot.

This event could not be made possible without the help of the Blush Pretty team who dolled up the ladies, styling by the talented Tamika Auwai who worked with the guests to find work appropriate outfits to suit their personal style, photography of the event by Barb Dubrawski and head shots for the ladies to use on linked In by Natasha Barrett.
All the clothing, shoes and accessories used for the event were from generous private donations but I am especially thankful for the contribution provided by LOFT. They helped make the day extra special!
The ladies also left with an amazing swag bag of goodies provided by The Body Shop, Kiss Nails and Broadway Nails!
Yummy cookies for the event were generously provided by Cristina’s Tortina shop.
The event was a huge success and I’m looking forward to helping out with it again next year! The ladies of the Homeward Bound program said they had a fabulous time and never felt so pampered <3 it was lovely to be a part of something so special
