TRAVEL DREAMS: Quebec City

I love travelling – I really wish I could do it more! My husband and I tend to go to Florida a lot as we have a family condo there so it’s a bit like home away from home. But lately I have been wanting to see more of Canada – we live in such a beautiful country!

 

I have been out East as a kid and have been to Montreal and Ottawa several times. I have only been to Quebec city twice – once when I was on a school trip and learned (I should say attempted to learn) how to ski and again with my husband for one night – I am longing to go back there – such a romantic and beautiful city! I would actually love to check it out in the summer this time

If I am able to make it there this summer here are the things I would do and see in Québec City:

Of course I would LOOOVE to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac – what girl wouldn’t want to stay in a castle? I can just imagine all the exploring we could do in the hotel alone!

 

I was also told about Sky Spa which is elevated open air spa with breathtaking views of the city. I saw that their packages start at $50 – I think this would be the perfect way to end a trip of walking, exploring and touring!

After relaxing at the spa I heard that at sunset Cirque du Soleil puts on a FREE outdoor show “Les Chemins Invisibles” – probably geared more towards kids but I have such a soft spot for any Cirque du Soleil show!!!
