Thirsty Three Experience with Lady Speed Stick

If you recall I tested out the new Lady Speed Stick while I was vacation dreaming. Since then, I also had the chance to have the “Thirsty Three” experience with Lady Speed Stick at my local The Ten Spot Beauty Bar.

Like the Danforth location, the Bloor West location is bright and airy and welcoming. I was there for the “Thirsty Three” experience which included an underarm wax, a manicure and a pedicure. I was nervous about the wax since I’ve never waxed before! I was pleasantly surprised when it didn’t hurt at all. The underarm wax sort of felt like a bandaid ripping off really quickly. A slight sting but nothing that lasted.

Next on the agenda was a much needed pedicure. I don’t get pedicures often and with this long lasting winter, open toes weren’t really an option so I probably went even longer without a pedicure than normal!

“Miami Beet” by OPI was the pretty colour I chose for my toes. I’ve been sporting pretty bright or dark colours lately on my finger nails so I opted for something really neutral this time around.
I chose a gorgeous nude colour called “Samoan Sand” which has me beach dreaming again…sigh!

I absolutely LOVE the colour – sometimes with really “barely there” nude shades it looks a little off with your skin tone but this colour is PERFECT! I’m going to have to pick this one up to add to my collection.

The next time I visit I’ll probably pick a bright summer colour like the pretty ones in The Ten Spot’s own “Nailed It” collection.
