St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend and while many of you may be out partying and drinking green beer (or in my case a Shamrock Milkshake) I thought it would be fun to put together a round up of green coloured beauty and skin care products! Also, since the colour of the year is Emerald – this list could possibly also apply to that theme.
So here we go!
To prep your skin for a day or night out you may want to check out this all green hued line from Eminence Organics. The Stone Crop collection tube contains everything you need for beautiful smooth skin. Stone crop is excellent for nourishing dehydrated skin and reducing the appearance of dark spots and skin blotchiness. This travel tube contains a full sized serum, gel wash, gel hydrator, moisturizer, and masque. I’ve used the stone crop line before and it’s definitely gentle and soothing on the skin.
Eye make up is the quickest way to make a green statement! Check out these products from L’Oreal. My picks for a smokey eye St. Paddy’s day look are the L’Oreal Color Riche Eye Shadow Quad in Army Brat for a muted look and La Couleur Infalliable in permanent khaki if you want high shimmer. Tie the look together with Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in green (possibly not out yet as I can’t find a link!)
If the smokey eye isn’t your thing you can still make a green statement with a crisp green cat eye using Maybelline’s Eye Master Duo glossy liner in polished green.
What about after St. Patrick’s day festivities? You can still continue the green theme by buffing away those over tired skin cells with Lush’s Sugar Scrub. It contains Fair Trade sugar and warming ginger to increase circulation while you exfoliate.
