So…this is incredibly exciting news. Everyone around town is anticipating the launch of Target stores all across Canada this month. Target is literally our first stop when we head to Florida after dumping our luggage off. We’re really going there for food but of course I find myself wandering to the cosmetics and clothing area while the husband can be later found in the toy section haha!
What’s REALLY exciting are the brands coming to Target Canada. One that I can’t wait for is Pixi Beauty!
I was sent a few of the best selling product to try out. I have to say I absolutely loved the packaging when I first saw it. Clean and simple and loving the mint green colour (though my pictures make some of it look white!)
This primer is really great! Is has a beautiful silky finish and just creates a nice smooth and even canvas to apply makeup on.
A tiny bit of primer is all you need!
To aid in shine control it contains Willow Bark. This product contains salicylic acid to help clear and unblock pores so I was a little hesitant at first to use it as I’ve been sensitive lately to salicylic acid but I am happy to report that I had no break outs! To be cautious I don’t use this everyday though. I don’t want to push my luck!
I’m really loving this brow tool. It’s interesting that it only comes in one colour though! But it seemed to work for me and I think it could work for even light colour browed ladies as the colour is very subtle.
First step, fill in your brows where they are sparse.
The brow filler part is very “dense” and not creamy so while it goes on easily you won’t make a mistake by adding too much product!
Set brows with the brow gel.
The brow gel is very transparent but has a slight brown tint to it. The mascara brush is smaller so it’s perfect for making sure all those stray brow hairs stay in place.
I think this one was my favourite product (but it was really hard to choose!). This waterproof liner is designed for your inner rim to brighten up the eyes.
Line inner rim of eyes to make them look brighter and whiter.
I have a major dry eye issue (one of the reasons I wasn’t able to get laser eye surgery years ago) so I almost always have red eyes 
. This product helped me look more awake and made my eyes look less irritated. It was really easy to apply too, it glided on really smoothly.

This balm is really hydrating and creates a nice glossy look to the lips. AND it’s not sticky!
At first I thought this was just a clear lip balm. But I was wrong! It works with the pH level of your lips so the colour and intensity is different on everyone!
