ARTDECO Summer Bronzing 2014 Collection Picks

I was first introduced to ARTDECO late last Fall and I was excited to check out their Summer Bronzing Collection. Like all their collections, The ARTDECO Summer Bronzing products are beautiful! Not only is the makeup of great quality but everything is just so pretty too.

You can’t go through summer without checking out bronzers right? The compact itself of this one is so pretty and will make you a little giddy when you pull it out. But wait until you see the actual bronzing powder.

Come on now…so pretty right?!? I love that the bronzer mimics the dragonfly design of the compact. Available in two shades – “bronzing fever” and “tan fever” this light and transparent powder will give you that healthy glow in a matte finish. YES MATTE! Many bronzers have a shimmer too them – and while I don’t mind that look at night or on a cloudier day, the shimmer can become quite obvious when it’s bright and sunny out. A matte bronzer will look more natural.

The other really pretty product I liked was this tri-coloured blush. For those days when you don’t really want to go all out bronze but have a nice rosey glow, the three colours blend together so well and are easy to apply to the cheeks.

This blush comes in the magnetic compact case so you can replace it but keep the compact with you when you run out.

Finally, you MUST check out these marbled baked eyeshadows. The ARTDECO Summer collection probably wouldn’t be complete without some bold colours added to the mix. These eye shadows (“marble purple” and “marble blue”) actually contain four colours each and create a beautiful metallic effect. These intense colours can be used either wet or dry depending on what look you’re going for.
