Thank Goodness Summer’s here! Everything just feels easier this time of year, doesn’t it? Wine tastes better. The air feels warm and soothing. Colours are vibrant and saturated!
It’s heaven!
Today we’re going to talk about my Summer Essentials. These little beauties are non-negotiable when the sunshine hits! It’s all about protection and pretty for me right now!
1. L’Oreal Silky Sheer SPF 50 Face Lotion
This fluid sunscreen is the absolute find of the summer for me! The texture is light and comfortable, while the finish is more matte than most. My skin is freak-show sensitive right now, but this wears like a dream! Did I mention that it feels and looks great under makeup? Yeah, it does that too.
2. Maybelline Colour Show Nail Colour in Porcelain Party
A white nail looks so fresh and clean in the summer! This polish delivers a beautiful shiny white in two or three coats, and wear time is pretty good! I’m very hard on nail colour, so if I get four days out of a polish I’m happy, and that’s what I got!
3. Lush It Started With A Kiss Lip Tint
If you haven’t tried Lush’s line of lip products, it’s about time you did! They make the best lip scrub on the planet, and this lip tint is really unique! The texture isn’t at all creamy like we’ve come to expect in a lip tint. It has more of a hard, waxy feel, which can feel grainy if you aren’t expecting it! It’s very hydrating, and smells of apples, white chocolate, and a hint of cinnamon. Can you say delish! The tint is a buildable true red. Just like Snow White’s lips! It can also double as a cheek tint for a rosy flush!
