Girls Night with Me & T Studio

I was recently invited out by my friend Steph to a girls night of pampering, sweets and some really great company at Me & T Studio. I don’t know about you but the summer for me has been “go, go, go” and it was great to spend an evening just catching up with friends and stuffing my face full of sweets 😉 The pampering provided by Me & T Studio was a major bonus!

Me & T Studio is owned by Shawna who is actually a critical care nurse! She has been a registered nurse for over 15 years and still occasionally spends time caring for patients but she has turned her passion for beautifying friends and family into a business.

The studio is located in the Yonge and St. Clair area at the corner of Heath & Yonge and I just loved the space as soon as I walked in.

Fuchsia, white and grey…seriously…was this place made for me?  😉 The fresh look of the studio makes it equally modern and cozy. And…while cupcakes are not the norm…(we were spoiled!) on any regular day you’ll find a candy bar waiting for you to indulge in your sweet tooth!

As I mentioned, it was a girls night and I got to hang out with two fun blogger friends – Anum of SummerXSkin and Christine Pantazis 🙂

We started off the evening with heavenly pedicures. Now, I don’t have the worst feet on the planet but my heels can get pretty dry and cracked. I barely felt what Shirley (my nail artist) was doing to my feet but I have to say…my feet have never felt so soft. Even now, weeks later after walking around downtown a lot in both flats and heels, the heels of my feet are still so smooth! Another great feature of the Me & T studio pedicure (actually the manicure too!) is that a paraffin treatment is ALWAYS included!

As a side note – because of Shawna’s background as a nurse, hygiene is super important. Ceramic tubs are used (not spray jet tubs) and Shawna makes sure to go beyond and above when it comes to hygiene!

Another bonus for me is that LoveFresh is used there as the moisturizing lotion! I loved the Key Lime Coconut Lotion – so summery! If you haven’t tried this scent before you really need to. This and the pear are now my favourites.

So, I have to take a moment and tell you how talented the nail artists at Me & T Studio are. Just look at the nail art above…they are LITERALLY works of art! Liz, Dylan and Shirley are amazing at what they do!

You probably know me…I’m pretty boring when it comes to my nails. So Shirley suggested I opt for a “reverse french manicure” in some subtle colours.

It might be a bit difficult to see but isn’t it so pretty? I received so many compliments on this mani – you kind of do a double take because at first you think it’s just the one colour and afterwards the shimmer catches the light!

Lash Extensions – Shawna herself does the lash extensions which are available for one set price (not priced per lash per eye!)

Spray Tanning – but not those booths you may be thinking of! Aviva Lab Solutions is used and is customizable and very comfortable.

Also…Shawna and her team can come to you! All services are mobile so you can book a private party or enjoy these services in the privacy of your own home.
