AROUND TOWN: Safe Haven Advanced Screening {GIVEAWAY} CLOSED

Posted on January 17, 2013November 20, 2015 by Elaine

Eeeks! So I’m really excited today because I found out there’s a new movie coming out based on a Nicholas Sparks book called Safe Haven. But that means…there’s a Nicholas Sparks book I haven’t read yet! Gasp!

Safe_Haven_Poster
This “romantic thriller” stars Julianne Hough and Josh Dumahel and will be opening on Valentine’s day. So for those of you that do the whole Valentine’s thing this might be the perfect date movie to catch! Check out the trailer:

Here’s even more exciting news. Julianne Hough and Josh Dumahel will be in Toronto this Monday for the advanced screening at the Scotia Bank Theatre! You may even get a chance to MEET them!
SAFE HAVEN
You can’t buy tickets to this event but you can win them here! I have 4 double passes to give away!  Here are the event details:
When: Monday January 2013
Show Time: 7:30 pm (but arrive early! I was told there might be a red carpet and of course you want to get good seats!)
Where: Scotiabank Theatre 259 Richmond Street West, Toronto ON M5V3M6

NOTES: You really need to arrive early as the seats are distributed on a first come, first serve basis – so avoid disappointment!

There will also be a “rush” line. So if you don’t win tickets you can try your luck by coming to the theatre and you may have a last minute chance of getting in.

Rules:
1. You must be able to get to the theatre (so I’m assuming if you live in Vancouver you may not want to enter…unless you’re willing to fly in for this event!)
2. If you are picked as the winner you MUST respond to my email within 24 hours. If you do not I will draw a new winner.
3. Four winners will be chosen.
4. Just because you win passes this does NOT guarantee you access inside the theatre! As stated above seats are given to pass holders on a first come, first serve basis. (So please don’t yell at me if you arrive late and don’t get in!)

It looks like a lot of fun and I really want to catch it with my bestie before she goes away on a month long trip to the other side of the world!

Why do all Nicholas Sparks movie posters look the same? The poster reminds me of The Notebook.

Dumahel is in it. I think that is good enough of a reason for me 😛

I haven’t seen a rom com in a while and this looks good – also some steamy make-out scenes? Bring it on!! 😀
