Beauty Products for Breast Cancer Awareness 2014

Posted on October 15, 2014March 30, 2020 by Elaine

As you all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and there are many beauty companies and brands with limited edition products on sale with proceeds going towards the cause. Here are a few that I thought were worthy of sharing.

Beauty Products for Breast Cancer Awareness

Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Pink Collection, breast cancer awareness, Estee Lauder

The Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Pink Collection ($35) from Estee Lauder is the beauty lovers pick for sure. This gorgeous nail and lip collection comes in pink clutch containing limited edition shades. The Pure Colour lipstick in “Dream Pink” and two mini nail lacquers in “Blushing Lilac” and “Berry Hot”. 20% of this retail price will go towards The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This collection is available at Hudson’s Bay, Holt Renfrew, Sears and online at esteelauder.ca.

breast-cancer-awareness-eos

Everyone’s favourite lip balm brand eos has a limited Breast Cancer Awareness pack out this month. As we know eos has products for the entire body and this cute pink pack ($9.99) comes with a berry blossom hand cream, a pomegranate raspberry smooth sphere lip balm plus a limited edition strawberry sorbet smooth stick lip balm. 100% of the net profits will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. You can find it at major retailers like Shoppers Drug Mart, Target, Loblaws and Sobeys.

breast-cancer-awareness-tweezerman

The award winning slant tweezer by Tweezerman ($29) features a pink ribbon theme to support Breast Cancer month. This limited edition tweezer is covered in pretty pink and white ribbons on a white enamel finish. A portion of each tweezer sold will be donated to organizations dedicated to cancer care and finding a cure. You can purchase this limited edition Tweezerman slant tweezer at Sephora.

breast-cancer-awareness-beauty-room

Get a pink maniCURE! Several nail salons in the city will be donating funds to support Breast Cancer Awareness. I’ve seen some places in the city donating $1 for every manicure but I went to Beauty Room located in Liberty Village where $5 will be donated!  It’s a great way to help out the cause while taming those pesky cuticles too.

What beauty products for Breast Cancer Awareness will you be checking out this month?

This is such a great post, so many ways to easily contribute to an amazing cause. That EOS gift pack is a great value too for all the products you get!

I’m loving the maniCURE idea! I’m a sucker for a product/service that gives back to charity, so I might have to check it out.

I love it too! I’ve usually seen $1 being donated so I was really happy to find out that Beauty Room was donating $5!
