Ok, this has been such an exciting year for retail in Toronto. First Ann Taylor arrived in town at Yorkdale mall and the Eaton Centre and now LOFT is slated to open in November!
I’m so jealous of all you ladies that work in the downtown core because the LOFT Mobile Style Closet will be making its way around town this Friday, October 26th!
To celebrate the first ever Canadian LOFT store opening at Yorkdale the mobile style closet will give you a sneak peak of what’s to be expected. The 2012 Holiday Collection will also be featured!
Here are some of my picks:
I’ve been looking for a gold sequined skirt since last year. My issue was that all of them were minis. This is a perfect length! I’m assuming it will be longer on me as the model is probably tall, but I’m sure I can work it with heels! At $79.50 this glamorous skirt is affordable for a special holiday piece although I’m loving how it’s been styled down with the Cable Shawl Cardi ($59.50), the Graphic Tee ($44.50) and those boots. Oh how I love those boots. Need to find those!
Hmmm…it would seem I’m on a fancy skirt kick. Isn’t this mesh party skirt ($98) so cute? I have no clue where I would wear this piece too. But I love that it looks pretty wearable with the long-sleeved stripe tee with sequins ($49.50) and the Jewel flower stretch belt ($39.50).
I’m also so happy to see that colour is in for the Holidays! Just check out these Wool Straight Legged Pants ($89.50) – I just wish they weren’t wool – wool makes me itch like crazy! The crewneck cable sweater ($59.50) and the Infinity loop scarf ($44.50) make this outfit so cozy! (Love the red shoes too!)
When you go to visit the Mobile Style Closet one person will also have the chance to walk away with the ENTIRE contents of the Style Closet (approximately $2,000 value!) and the first 25 guests at each stop will receive a surprise giveaway.
As well, LOFT Chief Style Director Alia Ahmed-Yahia will be on board to meet and greet the lucky Toronto shoppers.
So where will the LOFT Mobile Style Closet be stopping?
From 11 am – 1 pm be in the Ryerson University / Toronto Eaton Centre area.
From 1:30 – 3:00 pm you can catch them in the Financial District.
Then from 3:30 – 5:30 pm they’ll be in Yorkville!

Yes! Peel would be good too as I’m always in the area LOL! No I hear what you’re saying about the prices. I plan to check the price differences out too when they open. I’m sure I’ll blog about the opening so I’ll let you know 🙂
That is pretty awesome that Loft will be opening in T.O! I really wish some of these stores make it to Peel region 🙁 Not to be a downer but I am certain prices will be better in the States.
