Hello all!
If you remember my original Q and A with the multi-talented singer/songwriter Meredith Shaw, she was holding a contest, in participation with the Girls, Inc foundation, where they were looking for ‘Girls Who Believe’. Young girls were offered the opportunity to post a quick video online explaining why they were a ‘girl who believed’. Essentially, Meredith and the Girls, Inc. foundation, were hoping to encourage young girls to go after their dreams and aspirations, inspiring all girls to be smart, bold, and strong.
This past week, Meredith picked the winner – a young, 9 year old girl named Allison Colby, from Ajax, Ontario! Congratulations Allison! Meredith states “Thank you to all the beautiful, passionate girls who entered, you are super inspiring, and our winner, Allison Colby, exemplifies perfectly what it means to be a girl who believes“.

Allison wins jewelry from Rock & Reverie, a $250 donation in her name to Girls, Inc, and a cameo in Meredith’s upcoming video “Girls Who Believe”.
