Darn I meant to post about these a while ago but as usual I fell behind. Those of you who are bloggers do you have a blog schedule to help you stay organized? I have a list of everything I need to blog about but I sometimes get overwhelmed and then nothing gets done!
Moving on…
I was so excited to place an order from my friend Tess who is a talented makeup artist and – who knew – a talented jewellery maker as well!
Here are my new goodies:
From left to right: “I’m Nut’s About You”, “Unchained Elegance”, “Disco Samba” (sold out)
I absolutely LOVE my new bracelets – I wear them all the time! Usually I’ll pair the “I’m Nuts About You” with other gold jewellery or just wear on its own and the “Unchained Melody” goes perfectly with my Pandora bracelet! Love it!
Not only are these bracelets amazing because they look so great, they are made with love and for a great cause – for every bracelet Tess sells $1 goes to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.
I can’t wait to pick up more of these – I just saw that another style I was eyeing is sold out – ack!
If you’d like to pick up your own bracelets from Tess visit her post:
Thanks again for your support Elaine and writing a blogpost about this!
xoxo tess
Her bracelets spread like wildfire once she posted it on Twitter. I have the same bracelets as you but my Unchanged Elegance is in black and gold.
Oh yes I’ve done that too – just saved a post as draft like that. And yes I’ve given up on some reviews b/c I waited too long ;( Sometimes there’s just not enough time to even try the product out!
Ooh that’d be great Jessy!
Thanks Michelle – great advice
yeah I don’t think I could do dates, just want I need to get too – and getting lost on the computer is my biggest weakness – I log on just to check something and I end up on it for hours!
They are so cute bracelets! Love them all.
Sometimes I plan posts, sometimes not. When I plan, I just make a post as a draft with title so that I won’t forget. Once it is done writing I do schedule that post if I do have several posts. I often forget or the post especially related to review become old so I give up some of them though.
Aw, pretty bracelets and great cause! I know some people who work at CBCF. I should tell them about this!
Great picks! I love the nuts one!
Regarding planning blog posts…I have a little piece of paper on my bulletin board with a list of current items that I want to share. I don’t ever plan out dates, though. I have been trying to not get too carried away with how long I sit at the computer…that is my biggest problem. When my husband comes home, I try to limit myself to no more than an hour.
ooh! i do like the look of that gold one. great combination of neutral but glam
