You may have heard of Style Nine To Five but in case you haven’t it was founded by Christie Lohr who has been a successful retail recruiter for the fashion industry. It’s a fashion career website that brings together industry employers with talented job seekers in Canada.
Style Nine To Five was so sucessful it was only natural to start up Beauty Nine To Five with job postings such as hair-stylist, esthetician, beauty editor and makeup artist. Each resume submitted is pre-screened so that employers will be able to view the best possible candidates for the position they are seeking to fill.
I think websites such as these are an excellent resource for both job seekers and employers. I wish that Style Nine to Five and Beauty Nine to Five existed when I was a student – it would have opened my eyes to how many career paths there were in the fashion and beauty industries!
If you’re looking for a job in the beauty industry whether you’re just starting out or have experience you should definitely take advantage of all that Beauty Nine To Five has to offer!
