When I was in my early 20’s I thought neutrals were so boring when it came to makeup. I was really into experimenting with “crazy” eye shadow colours and didn’t feel like myself in neutrals. My how times have changed! I’m still willing to try out fun colours but I have really come to appreciate the power of neutrals and just how hard it is to find a REALLY great neutral palette.
I’ve been absolutely LOVING the Clinque Wear Everywhere Neutrals Palette in Grey which contains 8 eyeshadows that will give you multiple everyday combinations. There’s a mix of matte and shimmery colours – no frost. Who really wears frost anymore these days? You can go subtle or bold and the colours blend very easily.
The look I’ve been wearing lately is combining the four colours on the left of the palette and using the last colour (furthest on right) as a liner.
I love when all the colours in a palette are wearable since I don’t like switching back and forth all the time. This makes it great for travelling too – you can switch from day to night in a pinch!
