I’m so excited to share with you that I recently had the opportunity to interview the one and only Lilliana Vasquez about her tips for summer beauty. If you haven’t heard of Lilliana you have probably seen her as a regular on the Nate Berkus show! She’s got a great sense of style and is an expert in both fashion and beauty. I love reading “The Cheap Chica’s Guide To Style” which has great tips for the frugal fashionista.
So here’s my confession…this was my first phone interview and I had NO CLUE what to expect. I had a guideline of what we were going to talk about but of course I had a few of my own questions in mind. And even though I was told, I didn’t clue in that I was being RECORDED, ACK! It’s just my voice you’ll hear in the video but I sound like SUCH a dork! I absolutely hate hearing my voice LOL, nevermind seeing myself on video which is why you will likely NEVER see me doing a youtube video LOL!
Try not to pay attention to my voice and listen to all the great tips Lilliana offers. I’ll post links below for products we spoke about – thanks to Laurie – the lady who kindly set up the interview for sending them to me!
Here is some information on the products we discussed:
The beauty water shower purification system can be found online at Jonathan Product and there are plenty of places to find it in the US. In Canada you can find it over at ebeauty.ca. I really love the idea of this system, but I have to admit I wish it were “prettier” looking LOL! My husband and I spend a lot of time finding JUST the right fixtures for our home and this doesn’t neccessarily go with our decor so I might seek out other solutions first.
The volumizing hair products can be found at GG Gatsby which are available online however they don’t seem to ship to Canada (I went through the ordering process and no shipping method to my address was available).
As Lilliana mentioned she saves money by getting hair free at home with the Nair Brazilian Spa Clay collection. I’m assuming this is readitly available at most drug stores – I’m not a waxer myself so I never really noticed if I had seen this in stores or not!
Whiter teeth is something I always forget about it – I love tea and coffee too so I really should be more cautious of this! Arm and Hammer Complete Care and Advanced White are the two products Lilliana liked.

This was such a great idea! I see Liliana is such a busy bee! I see her a lot on the Today Show and she pops up on other shows all the time. That water purification system is pretty cool…gonna look into that.
