I hope everyone is enjoying their Canada Day or 4th of July long weekends! I didn’t have any huge plans this weekend except a family barbeque so I took the opportunity to do a little shopping.
Here are some of the great sales I took advantage of – they are still happening now either online or in-store (obviously not all malls are open in Toronto but the usual suspects like Square One and The Eaton Centre are).
Aritzia is having a “sale” on many items in store (no online shopping available). I put quotation marks on the word sale because I thought that some items marked down from $35 to $33 isn’t much of a sale and this is apparently what Aritzia does all the time. I have never shopped at Aritzia before – maybe a few years back (I’m talking probably 8 years ago?) I bought a tank top once but I usually don’t ever check them out. However I’ve been seeing a lot of tweets lately about Aritzia by Kelly and Wendy so I thought I’d give them a try.
I by no means found incredible “deals” but I kept my eyes on silk pieces in classic fits and colours that I could wear for a long time.
I ended up getting 2 blouses – one I couldn’t find online but it was a classic button down silk shirt in a cream colour. Here is the other blouse I got:
I’ve been finding myself so drawn to Club Monoco lately. I’m not sure if it’s the sea of beautiful neutral colours that draws me in but I just feel like they carry classic and beautiful pieces that I will hopefully not get sick of! They are having a huge sale instore and online – 30% off all sale items. The additional 30% off is taken at the cash or in your online shopping cart on top of the lowest price.

Marcelle Metallic Sweater – online and in store $69 + 30% off – I got this in a gold colour but couldn’t find it online.
There were a couple items I had eyed online which I either couldn’t find in store or in my size so I decided to order them online. (I registered with Club Monaco and they sent me a code for free shipping – this saved me from putting the minimum of $150 in my cart to qualify for free ship)

I also picked up a couple items from The Bay online shop. I got free shipping because I have an HBC credit card and I am and HBC rewards member.
