AROUND TOWN: IMATS Toronto 2013 is coming soon!

If you’re not aware of what IMATS is, it is the International Make Up Artist Trade Show and it’s a gathering of those in the makeup industry plus make up junkies and enthusiasts. 

Exclusive industry makeup and tools will be on sale at discounted pricing and the conference will be chalked full of amazing classes and events. Be sure to check out the schedule so you can plan your weekend.

This year the event will be taking place on November 9th and 10th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre while the past two have been held outside of the city closer to the airport. I wonder if this means the show will be bigger this year?

As I have learned from other regular attendees it’s best to go early as the most popular booths get packed quickly! It’s also important to come prepared with a list. IMATS isn’t really the place to browse and shop – if there’s something on your wishlist write it down and be prepared to hand it off to the staff at each booth. This will make your life so much easier and your IMATS experience a more pleasant one!

You can buy your tickets online up until November 7th but if you plan on attending I’d buy them soon so they don’t sell out.
