Have you heard of New Radiance Skin Care?

Posted on December 6, 2011 by Elaine

I was recently contacted by New Radiance small Canadian (yay!) Skin Care a company which started in Oakville now based in Mississauga; they asked if I wanted to try out some of their products which were launched in November.

Green Tea Glo Anti-Oxidant Cream ($39)
Hydrating Thai Algae Mask ($28)
Facial Glo Papaya Cleansing Scrub ($26

Facial Glo Papaya Cleansing Scrub:
I haven’t used the cleansing scrub yet as my skin is going through a sensitive phase right now and I don’t want to aggravate it further so I can’t give my opinion on this one.

Green Tea Glo Anti-Oxidant Cream
So far I’m loving this cream.  You only need a little but it absorbs so nicely into the skin and I looove the scent!  It actually reminds me of something my grandma used to wear but in a good way 😉  For those of you sensitive to fragrances you may want to skip out but for me it’s a plus.  You can use this cream day or night however there is no SPF so you’ll need to add that step into your routine.

Hydrating Thai Algae Mask
I also tried out the mask.  It comes out green of the tube green but when you apply it to your face it’s only a tint of green.  For me this is a plus – you only leave it on 5 – 8 minutes but I can’t really sit still and I’m always doing something while I’m waiting for a mask to dry.  The fact that it dries pretty clear means I won’t freak out the husband or my new kitty! 😛

The mask came off nicely, I just used moistened cotton pads.  The website states that it will not dry the skin but stay moist.  I did find that it dried on my skin – not to the point that the mask cracks or anything but I wouldn’t say it stayed moist.  My skin didn’t feel dry or tight after washing the mask off so that’s a plus.  I haven’t used it enough to say if it does a good job at hydrating my skin however.
Since New Radiance Skin Care just launched last month they are working on adding new items to their skincare line.  I’m excited to see what other products they come out with!
What do you think about this line, is it something you’d be interested in?
***Disclosure: products were sent to me by New Radiance Skincare for review consideration***

I’m definitely interested in any product that has a green tea variant – I heart green tea! Tastes great and has loads of healthy antioxidants 🙂

nice review. Question, have you heard about lumizone? wondering if you have a viewpoint on that product.
