What is IMATS you may ask? It’s the International Makeup Artist Trade Show! Don’t worry, I only found out about it myself last year!
But it’s not just for makeup artists, anyone can go. So if you’re in the Greater Toronto Area and you have a love of makeup like me and want to check out the latest and greatest in the industry then book off the weekend of November 12th and 13th and head down to the Toronto Congress Centre, North Hall H (650 Dixon Road, Toronto, Ontario)
This will be my first IMATS and I’m really excited but kind of nervous too. I hear these shows are HUGE and there are always crazy lines to score the best stuff.
What I’m really excited about are the classes being offered (see the full schedule here). Of course I’m told that I just HAVE to take advantage of the great deals offered at IMATS but I’m not sure how much I’m willing to part with my money on my first year. I might have to choose my IMATS partners carefully and not hang with any enablers…oh wait…I think that’s all the Toronto Beauty Bloggers I’ve met LOL!
Arianne of Glitter Geek did a great post highlighting all the Canadian brands that will be attending. I’ve heard a lot of great things about Yaby from both Arianne and Lelo of Lelo Artistry.

OOOO You are going to have SO much fun! I went last year and met Eleesa (pursebuzz), Koren, and Kandee Johnson! Make sure you get some pictures with them, they are so down to earth!
