I’ve mentioned mark before but for those of you unfamiliar it is a brand by Avon marketed as being more trendy and fashion forward. Since I’ve been an Avon and mark representative this is the first time I’ve seen them come out with nail polishes.

These bottles are so cute, they retail for $8 CDN and $7 US for the set of 2 in Fuschia-istic and Stay Neutral (here)
Here is how they look on me:
“Stay Neutral” is kind of a peachy colour to me with pinkish shimmer – the pictures make my skin and the colour look more orangy than it really is – sorry! Should have taken these in natural light! This is 2 coats using Seche Vite base coat and top coat.

Here’s the “Fushia-istic” in natural light – the colour is really pretty and vibrant. 2 coats is really nice and opaque. Also using Seche Vite base and top coats.
I like that the bottles are tiny – I tend to get tired of nail polish colours quickly and I have NEVER gone through an entire bottle of nail polish so this is kind of nice. However, a regular sized bottle of Avon nail polish can go on sale for $2.99 CDN and mark products hardly ever go on sale so you get a better bang for your buck with the Avon nail polishes.
The quality I would say is great too. The fuchsia polish lasted me almost a week and I wash my hands REALLY frequently and am pretty tough on my nails. I also don’t do the “wrapping” thing as I always forget. I also noted that these polishes were REALLY easy to remove. I ran out of cotton pads so had to use tissue to remove the polish and it came off so easily! I didn’t even really have to rub it off my nails.
I think these are great colours to have – the neutral is a nice spin on the the regular soft pink that I usually go for and the fushia will be nice in the spring and summer especially once I break out the sandals!
