I always find it fascinating when someone has straight hair, then they get a short cut, and it grows out curly from then on. can mythbuster explain this to me?

@Ping – my curly hair actually didn’t come in until about grade 5 or 6? My hair was long and my mom cut it really short (she wanted me to look like princess Di LOL!) and when it grew back it was curly! Well I guess they didn’t look like curls back then, my hair was just a frizzy mess
