Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette – Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

With Valentine’s day JUST around the corner, how could I NOT showcase this adorable Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette ($72)? Two years ago, I was blown away by the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes and was super excited when this one came out. It’s also a great way to indulge in a calorie-free way as, like the previous palettes, also smells like yummy chocolate!

Don’t you just love how each eye shadow pan of the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette is heart shaped? It’s the perfect partner for the Love Flush Blush Wardrobe palette! Full of 16 beautiful mattes and shimmer eye shadows, you have everything you need to help you create a variety of looks. Most of the palette is neutrals – which is perfect for everyday wear; but there are a few pops of colour for those days when you want to get a little more creative. Check out a closer look at the shadow pans and swatches below.

As I’ve come to expect with Too Faced eye shadows – the pigment of each of these is great. The colours glide on so smoothly; which is so important to me as I hate when eye shadows drag on my lids. Why bother with all those expensive creams to fight wrinkles and fine lines when your eye makeup causes you to pull at your eyes?

I also really love that the shimmers in this palette aren’t TOO shimmery; shimmers can be difficult to wear on a daily basis as they can settle into creases of the eye lides and also look a little inappropriate for the office. Since each of the shadows is buildable, you can choose the intensity of each colour which makes this palette even more versatile.

Whether you’re heading out for a romantic Valentine’s date night, hanging out with girlfriends or just skipping out on Valentine’s altogether (like me!) you’ll find an occasion to use this palette. In my opinion it’s WAY better than getting a box of chocolates! Though, I promise you, if you send me chocolates I’ll never say “no” to them 😉

So, what are your plans for Valentine’s this year? And will you be picking up the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette?

I’m on a low buy at the moment so I’m trying to cut down on buying makeup but the temptation is real when it comes to this palette! For Valentine’s Day we stayed in, it was 1 degree outside today no thank you lol.

Not normal at all!! Usually it’s the coldest in February, typically -20 to -30! I don’t know why it’s so warm right now!

That palette is on my Wishlist esp since ladies say it smells like Chocolate! 🙂 I just had a lovely Valentines with my special man, my son Nathan! From Home Depot Kids Workshop (we made a Valentines mailbox for Grandma!), eating Grandmas heart sugar cookies, and making a nice lunch for Valentines Day!

I bought this palette a few weeks ago and I’m freaking in love with it. I’m a huge fan of cooler toned shadows anyway, so this is right up my alley. And the quality is freaking amazing. Bonus points for being pink!

I’m loving the design of this palette! Almond truffle looks perfect for a dinner in with the hubby while the kids sleep. It would be a beautiful contrast to black liner with dark truffle for the lower lash line. These colours look peregtvto naturally complement so many skin tones. Too faced wins my heart every time!

Are you kidding, the cost for this cutie is $72 in Canada? You’ve gotta come visit. I thought $49 was a lot. But I love the palette, and if I was Canadian, I probably would’ve bought it anyway

OMG Allison I know – we always get stuck paying WAY more for things even when our $ is at par and now that it’s so low, even if we shop in the US we’re paying an arm and a leg 🙁
