mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint

Posted on December 19, 2010 by Elaine

This is a long overdue review requested by a reader Kristina.

I ordered two of the mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tints in “peachy” and “spice”.

Above are colour swatches – peachy on the left and spicy on the right.  I love the overall sheerness of these tints.  I think they would provide the perfect wash of natural looking colour to your cheeks.   I do have to say however, these are probably best suited to someone with really clear skin or someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup.   I wear foundation (either liquid or mineral powder) everyday and I found that these tints didn’t show up as vibrantly as I would have liked.   These would be perfect for someone who is afraid of blush as it provides a very subtle, sheer tint.

Has anyone else tried these out?  How about other cream blushes or tints?

@kellyyes – thanks for the comment! That is true, it’s hard to make a mistake with these 🙂

@Jane – I agree, bare skin would probably be best. I unfortunately have pretty uneven skin even in the summer time. I find tapping it on top of foundation will work but it does take several layers.

I haven’t tried these, but when I have used cheek tint in the past I used it on bare skin for a hint of colour. I really like to use it in the summer when I have a tan and my skin is clearer.

That said if you use your finger and keep blending you can get something that works with a foundation base too… just alot more work.

i havent tried these. they do look a bit sheer, but at least that will make them fool proof! i agree with you though, i think cream blushes in general are for clearer skin. it just applies so much better.
