Sephora really has got it down when it comes to releasing good quality, well priced and ridiculously cute products catering to their beauty-savvy customers. Today I wanted to share with you a few of my Sephora spring collection favorites! Some of them are limited edition, so if you like what you see time is of the essence!

Let’s start our routine at night. This gel mask smells fantastic and cools the skin as it is applied. I was generous and rubbed some on my neck as well as my entire face, including around the eye area. Sephora developed its masks, drawing inspiration from Asian beauty rituals. Each mask offers solutions to the unique needs of different skin types.
The Orchid Sleeping Mask was created to smooth the skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and aid in anti-aging. It absorbed very quickly (only a matter of minutes). I loved how it was non-greasy, yet hydrating at the same time. It is suggested to rinse off any excess if there is any, the following morning.
Sephora was quite generous with how much of the product is in the little plastic pot. There is enough for two uses at least. I will wrap a piece of plastic over it just to keep it fresh until the second use as there is no lid. (It is packaged much like those mini jelly packets you get with on-the-go breakfasts). This mask is a must, it is fun to use a moisturizing gel opposed to a cream – although I do adore night creams also!

I am practically obsessed with avocados in general, so it goes without saying that this is a personal favourite. At first I expected the mask to look like I rubbed guacamole on my face. I suppose I didn’t pay attention to the package close enough – it includes avocado extract NOT the mashed up fruit itself! Upon closer inspection it all made sense. When I opened it, there was this thin sheet of towel soaked in a clear liquid that smelled sooooooo good! The directions told me to pull off the thin layer of film attached to the towel, placing the mask on my face. I love the “second-skin effect fiber” as it clung to my face perfectly, leaving me to lie down and relax/read/browse my phone for the next 15 minutes without hassle. There was no slipping or mess. It was perfect! I have been having dryer skin than normal lately and this mask rejuvenated it, making it feel like I was a baby! After the mask is off they suggest to gently rub in the excess, no rinsing required!

When I first set eyes on my set of BYOB: Bring Your Own Brushes Break Ups to Make Up Brush set I could not help but feel like a kid in a candy shop. Brushes are quite the practical tool, but these had such a fun and energetic style! Who said practical had to be serious?
The plastic carrying case reminds me a bit of a cool pencil case I would have purchased back in grade school (or now for my art supplies for that matter!) It is cute, minimalist and shiny. I want to take it everywhere with me!

These were carefully selected to be brushes used to create a full makeup look. The brushes have a heart pattern on the handles, accentuated with gold on both ends. The bristles are soft and supple, perfect for blending my makeup in a pinch. After my makeup is done I can slip the zippered case into my purse or suitcase. It lies flat and is the furthest thing from bulky. If you love animals as I do, you will also be happy to hear that the creation of these tools are cruelty free, nothing is tested on animals!

Everything is carefully labeled as well: your base shades, warm brown shadows that are the perfect mix of metallic and matte shades, bronzer, blush and glosses. The top and bottom rows can each separately serve as two different makeup looks, or you can mix and match. The bronzer can be used for some subtle contouring of the cheekbones while the perfect petal shade of the blush can be dotted on the apples of the cheeks.

The shadows are smooth and soft with the right amount of pigment while the sheer lip glosses add just a subtle hint of colour while hydrating.
The built in mirror is a generous size, perfect for touch ups! This kit is ideal to transition from day to night as you can really build that sun-kissed natural glow for the day, adding a little more of the darker shadows to go smoky at night. The only thing missing from the kit would be your preferred foundation, as well as mascara.
