Shopping is on everyone’s minds and while I’m still putting together my gift list it’s so hard not to get tempted by the fabulous sales happening around me!
If you know me and this blog I’m a huge fan of LOFT and a few weeks ago I decided to head over to Square One for their LOFT grand opening event (my post about it here) to hang out with the Blush Pretty team and of course…shop
The lovely ladies of Blush Pretty (Marissa, Laura, Crista) were on hand giving shoppers 5 minute makeovers for the evening. Many guest opted for something fun for the holidays such as a bold or shimmery lip or even a bit of a smoked out eye.
Yummy food was being passed around including these delicious cupcakes from Dolled Up Cupcakes.
There was even a DJ on hand to set them mood!
But…let’s check out all the pretty items I found! And can I just say it was 40% off EVERYTHING during this event? I can’t believe I only walked away with one item. That is some serious restraint on my part!
The embellished or “pretty” sweat shirt is the prefect way to say stylish yet comfortable too!
A lace dress in this beautiful wine colour? Too bad it didn’t come in petites or it probably would have been mine!
Talk about a statement piece right? This gorgeous necklace is perfect to dress up a simple blouse or even a t-shirt!
You probably also know about my love affair with blazers. I love both of these especially the one on the right with the faux leather sleeves. I have a similar one from H&M so I didn’t pick it up but the Blush Pretty ladies all gravitated towards it and they may or may not have ALL purchased it. (Can we say team uniform? Yay!)
Here’s the “sweater blazer” I couldn’t stop thinking about and the one I came home with (now 50% off!). Doesn’t it look “Chanel-esque”? And it’s got great structure to it but feels comfortable like a sweater!
I’ve been literally wearing it everywhere! Here I paired with a black silk blouse, leggings and my trusty J Crew boots!
