Bright Pink In Winter – An Outfit Post

Posted on January 28, 2014March 16, 2014 by Elaine

Lately I’ve been dressing pretty cozy these days. Who can blame me – it’s COLD out there! And now that most of my work can be done from home I’ve been mostly living in leggings and slouchy sweaters – and mostly in (conservative) shades of gray.

But…just because it’s all gloomy outside doesn’t mean we need to wear “gloomy” colours! So I decided to add pops of pink to this outfit from last week:

Toronto-Beauty-Reviews-Pink-Blazer (1)
Blazer: H&M (old)
Blouse: SosieSosie
Jeans: Paige Denim
Necklace: mark by Avon “Weave It To Me” necklace
Boots: Me Too

I introduced the gorgeous necklace to you in my recent “Vacation” post. But here is a close up of it on.

Even without the pink blazer I think this accessory brightens up the outfit which as a pretty neutral base.

And…it might be cliché but I decided to go with a pretty pink pout.

Hair: styled with Versa Style
Eye liner: Lancome Artliner
Lips: Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Eternal
I’ve been getting questions about how I’ve been styling my hair lately. I’ve gotten better at using the Versa Style so I’ll attempt to do a post on it. Stay tuned and here’s hoping the photos come out properly.

Are you snubbing off winter by wearing bright colours?
