Benefit Brow Collection

Posted on September 27, 2016March 30, 2020 by Elaine

If you’re a fan of Benefit Cosmetics then you’re probably a fan of their brow products! Did you know that a few months ago the new Benefit Brow Collection launched? There are nine (yes nine!) products in the 2016 collection. I’ll run through them all here!

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 // Toronto Beauty Reviews

{Benefit Brow Collection 2016}

Not only is there a product for everyone in the Benefit brow collection but the main products also now come in 6 different shades! I attended a launch event for the collection and everyone in attendance was able to find their perfect match. For reference I can personally wear shades 5 and 6.

The Main Products

Figuring out which product is best suited for you is just as important as the shade! The BROWVO! Conditioning Primer ($36) is also a must have in my opinion. Regardless of which formulation of brow product you choose, this primer will make your brows appear fuller and help the product to adhere better to the brow hairs.

Just a little bit of the product goes a long way. The packaging says to click once per brow but I personally click once for both brows! I really notice the difference in the way my finished brows look if I use this product first.

Choose Your Formula

You’ll want to pick the product (or products!) that suits your needs.

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 – Brow Zings

This famous Benefit Brow product is new and improved! Brow Zings! ($42) is still nice and compact which makes it great for on-the-go touch ups. The wax and powder combination provides a natural looking and long lasting look.

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 – Ka-Brow!

If a gel is more your thing then Ka-Brow! ($30) is perfect for you. The cute little angle brush comes right in the handle of the product. You can get a very precise look with this product whether you want it to look natural or dramatic.

Benefit Brow Collection 2016  – Goof Proof Brow Pencil

If you don’t have a lot of time to get ready, then the Goof Proof Brow Pencil ($30) is for you. This is my go-to, everyday product. Even if I don’t have the time to put on additional eye makeup, this product makes me feel polished and put together! It’s extremely easy to apply and blend, but once it’s set it doesn’t move!

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 - Precisely, My Brows
Benefit Brow Collection 2016 – Precisely, My Brow Pencil

Similar to the Goof Proof Pencil, the Precisely, My Brow Pencil ($30) is perfect for (you guessed it) a precise application. This is great if you have a little more time to spend getting those crisp looking brows or for adding detail.

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 - Gimme Brow

Another favourite product of mine is Gimme Brow ($30). This product is very subtle and just adds a hint of colour so it’s offered in 3 colours (and not 6). It adds some volume to your brows which is great for those with fine hair.

The Finishing Touches

Once you’ve picked the product or products you want to use to fill in and shape your brows, the Benefit Brow Collection also offers products for finishing touches.

While finishing touches aren’t necessary for everyday, I really love all three of these products for making brows look really finished.

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 - High Brow
Benefit Brow Collection 2016 – High Brow

I’ve always loved High Brow ($29) to help finish off my brows. This creamy highlighter is very subtle and can be applied anywhere you want the light to hit. I like to apply it on my brow bone to emphasis the brow arch; in the corners of eyes to make them appear bigger; on the lower lid to neutralize redness and even on my cupids bow to make my lips more defined.

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 - 3D Brow Tones
Benefit Brow Collection 2016 – 3D Brow Tones

This product is the first highlighting brow product I’ve ever seen! 3D Brow Tones ($30) adds subtle highlights to your brows. Just like your hair colour, brows aren’t one solid colour naturally; there are different tones. This product makes your brows look more natural by adding back this highlighted effect. It’s available in 2 shades$ and from what I saw at the launch event, it worked for everyone!

Benefit Brow Collection 2016 - Ready, Set Brow
Benefit Brow Collection 2016 – Ready, Set, Brow!

Last but not least, I always finish off my brow look with Ready, Set, Brow! ($30). It’s a colourless formula that just sets your brows into place so they stay looking flawless all day long!

Have you checked out the Benefit Brow Collection yet? What’s your favourite product?

I’ve been a brow powder (Anastasia Beverly Hills) user for a long time, I don’t get on so well with the pencils. I’m interested in tryihg the Ka Brow though.

I used to use powders too but weirdly I started breaking out in my brows from the waxes. I’ve had no issues with the pencils though and they go on really smoothly.

I just picked up another Anastasia Brow Wiz, but am debating if I should return it and try the Precisely Brow Pencil instead. My only hesitation is that the extra $7 is just for packaging, and the products are virtually the same. The brow primer sure looks unique though!

Hmm yeah that’s a tough one! I don’t really use the precision pencils as they take me too much time to apply lol. Let me know your thoughts if you do pick it up!

I think the only product I’ve ever tried from Benefit is their popular Hoola bronzer. I need to try more…. I’m right into eyebrows this year, and I love their new launch (and design… so cute!)

Hoola is one of my favourite bronzers! The brow products from benefit are really amazing. They put a lot of thought into them!

I’m loving the new packaging for the Gimme Brow and High Brow (both of which I use daily!). I want to try the Goof Proof Brow Pencil!

The Goof Proof is my go to! Especially now that T is here I apply it quickly when I need to leave the house!

Wow, Benefit really has led the way on brows! I had no idea they had this many products. I think I could ‘benefit’ from the conditioning primer!

I’m definitely curious about the 3D brow tones- my brows are super sparse, so I like the idea of adding more dimension! Will have to check out the Goof Proof pencil too!

If they are sparse then the Goof Proof is definitely needed to fill them in but the 3D would be a great finishing touch to make them look very natural!
