Drybar was originally started in L.A. but recently its products have made their way to Canada; more specifically at Sephora, but their first Canadian location will be opening in Vancouver. I had heard about Drybar but had no clue that they had a line of products and tools. What was most intriguing was the catchy names of the products. Being an avid cocktail-drinker, the names really caught my attention - a product line after my own heart.
Triple Sec – The Perfect 3 in 1 ($32.50)
At first I thought it was a dry shampoo but while it has the qualities of one (Drybar has its own dry shampoo, Detox), the product is really the perfect 3 in 1. It texturizes but provides movement with a soft matte finish. It also amplifies by lifting up flat hair with volume and creating body. Lastly, it refreshes like a very light dry shampoo and absorbs oil. It is the crystal clear microporous minerals that add fullness and texture to the hair. This product is great for mornings to refreshen and add volume to flat slept-in hair but it also works later in the day to revive hair before going out.
