Another fashion week has come and gone and there were a lot of great looks going down the runway. As always, Toronto Fashion Week brings us a sneak peek of what we can expect to be upcoming trends. This year, here are the top 5 fashion week trends in hair, nails, makeup, and of course, clothes that we can look forward to in the fall/winter:[separator type=”thick”]
There’s no in-between; you’re either team grunge or team clean. Helder Diego went with the “model off-duty” meets “I slept in” look. The key to this modern grunge look is having waves that looked lived in. You can use a large-barrel curling iron to get these waves if you don’t already have them naturally. Your hair should be messy, so rake your fingers through and break up the waves. Another great way to get that messy texture is spraying some of Redken’s dry shampoo as you break up the strands. Your hair may not be dirty, but putting in some dry shampoo will actually help create that lived-in look!

If you prefer a clean look, you can follow the look created by David Dixon which was an asymmetrical low chignon. Start with a low ponytail, apply shine spray, then split your ponytail into two. Now, wrap the two pieces like a double-dutch rope before pinning the joined pieces into that bun. The overall look is simple and clean.
