Gap Online Purchases Part 2

Posted on March 3, 2011December 21, 2014 by Elaine

Ok here is part 2 of my online purchases.  Thank you so much for all your feedback on my Gap Online Purchases Part 1 I really, really appreciate all your feedback.  That is one of the reasons I started this blog – to get honest and friendly advice.  I don’t always trust myself with purchases and am still trying to break life long habits with purchasing items that I don’t know how to wear!

Anyway, on to part 2!

First up another cardigan:

Gap Lace Back Cardigan in XS
Now on me:

I like the fit of this cardi however I kind of wish it had more buttons so it would close higher up on me.
The pretty lace back:

And a close up:

Now for my second item.  I really wanted it in this colour:
But it was all sold out in my size so I settled for this colour:
Gap Zip Sweater in charcoal XS
Here it is on me:

And the back:

It’s a very comfortable sweater and I can see myself wearing it a lot out casually – maybe dressing it up with a scarf?  I haven’t tried it tucked into anything so not sure if that’s an option or not.  I really like that it wasn’t itchy at all!So, what’s the verdict?

I’ll say keep the lace cardigan and return the other sweater. The lace cardigan is so pretty unique. I am sure you have tons of gray sweater in your closet 🙂

Loving the cardigan……the fit is so perfect for you…..wondering if they have anymore colors? Not so crazy about the other top, def not as flattering as the first for sure.

I really like both of your purchases. They both have fun details that make them unique. I’m really in love with the lace on the back of the cardigan.

Definitely keep the lace back cardigan! It’s so pretty! The grey sweater looks really comfy too. I think it’d look better with a scarf :). Maybe even a belt over it?

I like the idea of the lace cardi but white lace always makes me think of Madonna. >.< I like the grey sweater since it is so versatile, and the back zip gives it a youthful and trendy touch. Does it feel too loose or is it comfortable? Just judging by the model, it looks as though it’s supposed to be slightly loose.

I love both! But I think the zip back is just too, too big on you! 🙂

Hum….I say return both? I do like the concept of the lace in the back of the first one but is it really practical for you? I vote return both – I think there is better out there for you 😀

I voted keep on both items. The lace detail is unique and the cardigan reminds of some of the lace sweaters I want from J. Crew this season but for a much better price. Totally thinking about getting this one for myself 🙂 I agree that the second top may seem plain but it’s exactly the type of staple I’d wear. So easy to don on when you’re just going for simple and casual. Love the exposed zipper and you would easily dress it up with accessories.

The cardigan’s definitely a keeper! I don’t see anything too special about the sweater, but if you say its comfortable and you think you will wear it, then you should keep it too!! 🙂

The cardigan is cute and I like the lace in the back, but I’m not sure about keeping it. LOL, I would factor price. Ultimately, it comes down to how much do you love it? 🙂 It is cute though 🙂

I think I’m in the minority, since I do like the sweater and how casual it looks. I think it would look cute with a nice statement necklace, and some skinnies. Add a belt sometimes, or not. It can easily be dressed up =) and worn often!

That lace back on the cardigan is so precious! Perfect for spring. I’m sure you have a cute little tank top to pair it with.

Hello, Monkeyface has this sweater in yellow. See how she styled it for her 30 for 30. I’ve seen it at the store and thought it was so cute, too. But they didn’t have the red or the yellow in my size. 🙂

The lace cardigan is so beautiful on you! I like the zipper detail of the gray sweater but it looks a bit too plain from the front. It would look great with some bold jewelry though!
