Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal Collection

Posted on June 6, 2016June 19, 2016 by Elaine

With summer finally showing up, many of us are in the same dilemma: What do I do with my hair?

Heat and humidity plays a huge roll in how we style our hair – those heat styling tools will be a pain to use, so why not embrace your natural texture? I’ve been testing out the Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal Collection over the past few months and I’ve been loving how my curls have been turning out. This line is great if you have natural waves and some texture too – not just for the curly haired girls out there!

{Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal Collection}

My friends at Kérastase are offering one lucky Canadian reader the ENTIRE Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal Collection! Find out about each of the products in the collection and of course what you can win!

Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal Collection // Toronto Beauty Reviews

The system starts off with the cleansing conditioner. You may have heard of the “no-poo” technique in which you forgo the shampoo all together and opt for latest in cleansing conditioners. The Kérastase PARIS Curl Idéal Cleansing Conditioner ($69) is sulfate and silicone free and works well to get rid of of grime in your hair while conditioning your curls in one step.

For thick, unruly hair (like mine!) the Kérastase PARIS Curl Idéal Masque ($66) will be your best friend! Use it as a more intense treatment or try a tiny bit as a leave in conditioner for nourishment that lasts all day.

For daily use the Kérastase PARIS Curl Idéal Oléo-Curl ($56) is perfect to keep your hair hydrated and frizz under control all day. If you have thinner hair use just a little bit and avoid the roots.

I personally usually prefer creams or lotions for styling to mousses but I think the Kérastase PARIS Curl Idéal Mousse ($46) has converted me! It doesn’t dry out out my hair or leave it crunchy. In fact, my curls were more defined, soft and bouncy!

Bonus product for the giveaway! If you can’t put away your blow dryer for the entire summer, then you’ll want to check out the new Kérastase PARIS L’Incroyable Blowdry ($40) which provides extreme anti-frizz control plus heat protection to keep you locks healthy all summer.

Also, if you are truly a curly haired girl be sure to check out this cute Book of Curls available for download!

If you would like to win all these products in the Kérastase Discipline Curl Idéal Collection (approximate value $275) just enter the rafflecopter form below! Good luck!

I love a messy bun in the summer. It is nice and cool and easy to do. My curls tend to have some extra flat to them in the summer with the humidity. This would help

Oh my gosh, I’ll have to enter another one some time (since I don’t have curly hair). Plus, I still have my parents Canadian address hehe. Wait is that cheating? 🙁 I used Kerastase products but they’re unfortunately out of my price range. I cherished every drop I had!

I find using a hair serum to tame the frizz helps on those humid days. Plus a top knot hair style can be a problem solver for quick hair to go!

i usually will wash and condition my hair then apply a frizz-taming serum or mousse and try to air dry it. or i might just braid it, put it in a ponytail after washing.

In the summer I find the more natural, the better. Waves are easy to maintain in the humidity.

I have almost waist length hair & what I love to do is just after I wash it wrap in in the drying triangle towel and clip to the top of my head. When all most dry I take it down for a great beach wave!

Summertime = no straightening since I’ll get a frizzy mess (unless an indoor special event)

A little mousse & serum or oil and let it air dry and do it’s own thing (a wavy curly thing!)

I used to have very oily hair and had to wash it every single day in order to feel fresh, but recently I started washing it less and less (first it was every other day, then every other 2 days), and this action alone has reduce the oiliness tremendously. So “not washing as often” would be my tip and trick for fresh summer hair. 🙂

I’m all about the air drying. I do it in the winter too, but the summer weather allows me sit outside and let my hair have a break from heat products! Also, lots of anti-frizz products to counteract the humidity!
