I cannot tell you how excited I am that LOFT will finally be opening in Toronto! November 16th is the day and Yorkdale is the place. I admit I wish it were opening at a mall closer to me but I’ll definitely make the effort to trek to Yorkdale to get my hands on the gorgeous sequined skirt I’ve been eyeing since the mobile style closet was announced!
Last week I had an up close and personal preview of the LOFT Canada Holiday collection at a fashion show in the Distillery District.
Here are some of my favorite looks from the show (apologies for the quality of the photos! Some are quite blurry).
I was happy to see the gold sequined skirt looks beautiful in real life. This one is definitely on my shopping list! I love how it was styled with a casual T shirt and a cozy sweater and scarf.
More coziness and sparkle caught my eye! If you’re looking for a bit of sparkle to add to your wardrobe for the winter it looks like LOFT has got you covered!
I liked the look of this short skirt paired with the longer coat in a bold stripe.
Also noted was shorter pleated skirts with sweaters and bold necklaces.
This simple black and cream outfit caught my eye. I like the detailing on the blouse!
Hard to see but this is the mesh party skirt. It’s really quite wearable!
I really liked this colour combo. Wine top with pink bottoms.
Sorry for the blurriness – this one was hard to capture – a sequined pea coat!
Check out the necklace! It definitely makes this conservative outfit. I’ll be searching that piece out as well!

Actually I haven’t checked out Loft in a while – that camel striped coat and that flippy mini/dress? have really caught my eye!
