OOTD: Getting ready for Fall and making some new friends

Posted on September 16, 2010November 4, 2014 by Elaine

Ok Fall is DEFINITELY here to stay.  The mornings and nights are frigid and the days are comfortable.  I love Fall but it can be hard to dress when you’re going to be out all day!

There is a really big park near my place called High Park which is a park in the middle of the city!

Here are some pictures from our walk there:

Corduroy shirt/jacket Jacob Connexion XS
Scarf:  RW&Co
Shirt:  mark by Avon
Jeans:  Gap Jean Leggings 00
Boots:  Avon

Some Canadian pride!

We also met a few friends in the park:

We happened to have a bag of peanuts on us so we all became closer friends 😉

This is one our favorite Fall things to do – take a walk in the park and feed the squirrels and chipmunks and help them get ready for Winter hibernation 🙂

Thanks for your sweet comment! I can’t get over how TINY that chipmunk is – and you’re very brave to feed him right out of your fingers (the picture where he’s dangling from your hand is hilarious!) – I’d be afraid he’d bite me! So cute though.

It is getting pretty chilly here. Fall is definitely here to stay! Cher when you come to Toronto I suggest you bring some sweaters and scarves 😉

I had to look up the conversions but the daytime highs have been about 21°C (around 70F) but the mornings and evenings drop to 7°C (around 45F).

CUTE outfit – I love the jacket / scarf combo. Is it getting cooler where you are? We’re still in the high 70s.

And oh my goodness, that chipmunk is soooooo ADORABLE! I don’t think I’ve met any that are so unafraid of humans.

Ack! Those are super cute pictures! I’d love to have a squirrel let me feed it, but they all run away. 🙁

I love your outfit, so simple but perfectly chic and put together.

Haha, that chipmunk is hanging on for dear life (or peanut). Fall is here to stay as well. It’s hovering in the high 50’s lower 60’s now. Casual dressing for me is similar to what you have on…boots, skinny jeans, scarf.

Cute skirt in your outfit! I’m jealous, its been teetering in between nice weather and omygoodness 90 degree weather over here. LOL and your husband touched the chipmunk!!!!

Cute fall outfit! I can’t believe the season’s are changing already. My favorite part though is getting to bring out all my scarves. Definitely loving the one you have on here–the print is so pretty!

And whoa, those squirrels are friendly!

That chipmunk hanging onto the peanut is adorable!!

I really like the jacket with the boots. The scarf is such a nice touch. I wish I could start wearing my cold weather clothes. Still in the high 90’s and 100s this week.
