Saving Beauty Prep Time with Weleda!

Posted on July 18, 2012June 5, 2015 by Elaine
Weleda is another brand that I’m slowly starting to get to know and so far everything I have tried out from them I really love! The most recent product I’ve tried is great because it also saves you time!
Weleda One Step Cleanser & Toner // Toronto Beauty Reviews
Weleda One-Step Cleanser & Toner ($24 CDN for 100 mL) is a rinse off milky lotion that is meant for normal to oily skin. It has natural olive oil to moisturize and soothe your skin and witch hazel to clarify as well. This stuff smells amazing! And it felt so cooling and refreshing on my skin. I might be out of the norm here but I find smells like peppermint or lemongrass to be very calming but awakening at the same time. The scent of this product evokes those feeling for me so I’m in love! It also left my skin feeling very calm and smooth – my skin can get angry with me so easily these days so using this product was a treat!
Another thing that’s great about Weleda products is that they are certified natural skin care which are free of synthetic ingredients. The great scent is derived from natural essential oils – so while this is great for me personally I know there are some out there that have reactions to essential oils so use with caution!
This product really does save time as it cleanses and tones all in one and it’s a great makeup remover (stay away from the eye area though!). Saving time is essential but especially in the summer when you want to get out and enjoy the weather!
Let me know in the comments what you do to save time!

Oh no, that’s too bad! But yes scent is so personal! And I’ve been known to like “medicinal” type of scents LOL!

I had the chance to try this and it definitely helps take off the grime. Unfortunately I’m not a big fan of the scent of the product 🙁

Dani! I wish I could say it removes ALL makeup but I have yet to find any product that does except for using a clarisonic facial brush. That said I DO probably wear more makeup than the average person (I think!) so it will be difficult for me to find something that removes everything in one swipe. I do find this DOES work really well though b/c of the way you use it. I wet a cotton pad then put the product on the cotton pad and swipe it all over my face. So granted I used more than one cotton pad. After I rinse off and I must say going over with a clean cotton pad at the end is pretty good – just traces of makeup by my hair line, around my nose and of course my problem areas where makeup tends to cake up (ugh).

Ooh, this sounds lovely! My skin right now is combination with the hotter it is, the oilier I get. Does this remove ALL your makeup? I would love to have a product that is literally one-step cleansing (like the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish). I would get more of the LE stuff, but shipping is swift kick to the you-know-where.
