The Banana Republic “Mad Men” collection is back for spring and will be launching in stores and online tomorrow – February 27th! The new collection is inspired by Megan played by Jessica Pare (Canadian born!) and will be available exclusively at Banana Republic locations across Canada and online at www.bananarepublic.ca.

I love, love, love this retro look! I’ve never really been a fan of patterned pants (I may have a pin striped somewhere…) but this gingham pattern is so cute! This subtle pattern mixing goes great together! And who doesn’t love navy for spring?

How cute is this blue and green dress? This dress speaks volumes on it’s own so no need to over accessorize. This dress would be great with heels, flats or boots! I’m just not sure if I can personally pull off the pattern.

Of course Banana Republic wouldn’t leave out the men. Ok I’m going to admit that I’m probably one of those rare girls that HATES pink and purple on guys. I dunno…maybe it’s just on my guy, but I can’t stand it! This light blue though? Love it! This whole look is great. Again, I’m no stylist but the shorter pants on guys drives me crazy. My guy is a tall one at 6’4″/6’5″ though…so perhaps it’s just because I think he’d look silly!

I absolutely love navy on guys. Navy or grey is just perfect for suits. Black is way too harsh most of time. I really love this polished look right down to the pocket square. The only part I’m hesitant on is the skinny tie and the length of the pants (again) but I love this look so much I’m willing to look past those things! Though you can’t see them here, according to the lookbook, the model is sporting crimson micro-pattern heart socks!
