A little while back I won a giveaway from summerxskin for a dress from e-closet.ca. You can see how I styled it here for a potential night out.
After that post, the kind people of e-closet contacted me and asked me if I would like to review an item from their store.
I chose this Burgundy loose fit blouse to try out. Here’s me wearing it at an event pictured with Val.

The Site:
When I was browsing the site I liked the ease of it, although it’s not as “clean” as I would usually prefer. As well, I prefer seeing clothes on models rather than on mannequins, but then again often clothes are pinned or altered on models anyway. This is just a personal preference for me and really has nothing to with the practicality of the website.
Quality and Fit:
I will admit I was a bit skeptical of the quality even when I entered the giveaway. After winning the dress from Anum I was pleasantly surprised that the quality and fit was decent and so my expectations were met with this blouse. It draped really nicely with the material being polyester. Hand washing or machine washing on gentle is required.
I was also weary as the smallest size available was “small” which is why I chose a top that was meant to be loose fitting. It actually fit me perfectly! I don’t have a picture of it untucked but it falls just under my hips so it can be worn untucked with no issues and tucking can be done without unsightly bulges.
Prices:
The price points are excellent. You can find some unique pieces for prices comparable to H&M. Plus, I really like that they offer free shipping and returns within Canada with purchases over $50.
Would I shop there?
Yes I would!! My only drawback is that many of the items aren’t really my style or tastes, but I did manage to find a few items that I could definitely work into my wardrobe. A couple of my picks would be this Royal Blue Top, this Flower Printed Chiffon Top, this Patch Work Chiffon Top, and this Royal Blue Printed Black Chiffon Top.
