When you first open the palette you will discover an enticing aroma of your favourite chocolate treats. Infused with cocoa powder, it is enough to make your stomach grumble.
The eye shadows come in a wide variety of colours, perfect for many different skin tones. A pamphlet is included with directions on how to create a few specific holiday looks. I tried out the “Gingerdoodle” instructions and love how warm and toasty it is.
The application is smooth and pigmented! I also love the Shadow Insurance primer included in the kit, to apply under your eye makeup to make it stay all day. Along with this there is a tube of Two Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and their Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chocolate Milkshake. I am wearing the lipstick in the photo and absolutely love how it is a yummy smelling peachy nude, great for any occasion. The mascara didn’t work for me personally, but I also have short lashes and am often looking for something that adds a bit of drama and length. I have heard many great things about it from others and feel that it would be an excellent fit for someone looking for more of a natural look instead.
All these products are packaged sweetly into the most feminine, festive box. You cannot help but feel a little bit pampered every time that you open it!

Let It Glow
If you are looking for something extremely cute — the Let It Glow Highlight & Blush Kit is where it’s at! Included is the Snow Bunny Luminous bronzer, Rosy Glow highlighter, Love Hangover blush and Flatbuki brush.

These products create a “just sat by the fire” type of wintery flush. The shades were perfect for me with enough colour without being overdone. The highlighter offered the perfect amount of glow without looking too shiny! I am a huge sucker for cute things (I have way more Kawaii keychains than is necessary) so I couldn’t help but fawn over how adorable the pink heart-shaped flatbuki brush is!
