Usually in the summer I gravitate towards bright colours but I keep finding myself putting on this all black outfit. I think itโs my version of the ever popular โromperโ without the whole bathroom issue going on
Top: Smart Set; Skirt: LOFT Lou & Grey; Purse: c/o MIN by Minling Pan
Most people avoid black in the hot summer days but with proper weight material (in this case lightweight) black can work all year round!
This top from Smart Set has become one of my favourites. It can be worn tucked in or out and the chiffon type material allows my skin to breathe. Itโs also just the right amount of sheer that I donโt have to wear an additional tank top or camisole under it! My favourite part is the faux leather details at the shoulder.
My love affair with LOFT continues and I donโt think it will ever die. In particular their Lou & Grey line is one of style and comfort that suits me perfectly. This pretty summer skirt has lace details (which we all know Iโm a sucker for) and itโs got a drawstring waist band so I donโt feel restricted in the summer heat. I REFUSE to wear restrictive and tight clothes in the summer months! Alsoโฆdid you notice the pockets??? Itโs settled โ this is officially THE BEST SKIRT EVER!
This pretty peach clutch has been my summer shopping accessory. This particular day was one filled with brunch (Glory Hole doughnuts and coffee!) and a flower market. I love that I can be hands free and it offers my all black outfit a pretty punch of colour.
Are you into wearing black in the summer or do you gravitate to a more colourful outfit? Andโฆby the wayโฆwhat are your thoughts on the whole romper/jumpsuit trend? Is it just me or are they super impractical?
