mark. That’s Beachy Texturizing Surf Spray

Posted on June 24, 2014May 19, 2015 by Alysia

Texture is always better when attempting pretty summer hair dos. Alysia tests out the mark. That’s Beachy Texturizing Surf Spray – read her thoughts!

*****

Being someone who has stick straight hair, I need volume, texture…basically anything to avoid flat hair. I have tried some other texturizing sprays but most of them just made my hair sticky and crunchy. This surf spray by mark is the perfect solution for me.

Although it sprays on sticky, after blow drying, my hair was full of volume and texture, and felt thick enough to put up in an up-do. Typically, I have to wait a day or two for my hair to become “dirty” in order to sweep it up. I am hoping that once my hair grows longer, I can spray my hair, braid and let air dry and come out with beautiful waves; almost as if I was at the beach all day.

The smell of this product is wonderful; the formula is just right and it will now become a staple this summer. I am sure it will air dry nicely but I do love the volume I get when I blow dry it. It would be great if they made a small travel size bottle to bring with you on vacation; but come to think of it, when you are on a beach vacation you have the luxury of using the natural saltwater to get the sexy beach look. This is why, since I don’t live near a beach, it’s better to fake it with this surf spray. The regular-sized 200 ml bottle retails for $16.00.

What’s your favourite texturizing spray?

Is this similar to the Bumble & Bumble surf spray? It looks like they used a similar font and colour scheme for their bottle. I haven’t used either, but am always curious about texturizing sprays.

I’m not really sure as I don’t personally have a need for texturizing sprays 😛

I have always been interested in the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray but I never wanted to pay a lot to try something. I agree with you that they used the same teal colour (I guess it reminds everyone of the ocean). I think the mark product is great and reasonably priced.
