Now that summer is officially here, we all dream of vacationing on a tropical island with sandy beaches. Unfortunately, this isn’t always possible, but luckily, the Saint Barts Instant Vacation Beauty Collection by mark. is inspired by the island of Saint Barts and will give us a taste of the tropics. Today, I review the Eau de Toilette Spray and the Shimmering Body Lotion.
mark. Saint Barts Soleil Instant Vacation Eau de Toilette Spray
This eau de toilette is perfect for the summer months. It has a very fruity, refreshing scent with notes of mandarin, island fruit, frangipani flower, orange blossom and coconut milk. It isn’t too heavy, but has many notes that are released as the day goes by. It retails for $24.
mark. Saint Barts Soleil Instant Vacation Shimmering Body Lotion
The Shimmering Body Lotion is inspired by the “shimmering waters and silky sands of St. Barts.” It is recommended to wear it under the eau de toilette for a “luxurious, total-scent experience.”
This lotion has a very clean and refreshing scent, very similar to the eau de toilette. It has a gold shimmer to it, which doesn’t seem that noticeable at first, but comes out more as the lotion is absorbed into the skin. It’s also just the right amount of shimmer; it’s there, but it’s not too obvious that you end up looking like a disco ball. It also lasts all day but washes off easily in the shower. It retails for $14.
With this limited edition collection you can get into that island mood without actually leaving the city!
