Review: Premier Spa Beautifying Nail Kit {GIVEAWAY} CLOSED

Posted on August 29, 2012November 20, 2015 by Elaine
I’m not a big nail person. I have never been into nail art and all the pretty nail designs I’ve seen on blogs and pinterest. I’m always admiring the done up nails on other ladies but I just don’t have the patience for it. I can barely even paint my nails ONE colour never mind 3 or 4!
I do however understand the importance of having clean and polished nails. I love the look of a fresh manicure when I leave a salon but again, maintenance is not my thing. I’m TOTALLY guilty of having peeled and chipped nail polish before I will make the effort of taking it off.
This is why I really loved this nail kit by Premier Spa. The perfect way to make my natural nails look pretty without the maintenance of putting on and taking off polish. Excellent for a lazy girl like me!

I’ve used other nail kits similar before and I always love the results. Sometimes unpolished nails can still look put together.

Included in the kit is a hand and body cream, nail oil, nail file and the ultimate tool – the nail buffer.

I love buffing my nails – they come out so smooth and shiny afterwards! I think I could get addicted – which would be a bad thing as over buffing your nails isn’t good for them!
This Beautifying nail kit was great as everything was included in it to give me healthy and clean looking nails. I used the file as best as I could (I’m not very good at getting the “perfect” nail shape either) then moved on to the buffer. I had some left over polish on my nails and the buffer did a great job of taking some of the residue off.
After buffing I applied the nail oil which had a great kind of lemony scent. My only complaint is that a lot of oil would come out of the tube (way more than I needed) and when I closed the tube the oil still leaked out a bit. Next I applied the hand and body lotion. I love how it absorbed very nicely into my skin. I’ve also been using this on my legs every morning and they stay smooth and soft. The scent is *slightly* too sweet for my liking but it quickly disappears so that’s not an issue at all.
Here’s how my nails looked after:

Excuse the “waviness” of my nail tips – I told you I wasn’t great at filing! It was difficult to capture on camera but my nails were really quite shiny afterwards!
This nail kit retails for $49.99 but for the month of August (eeks, til Friday only!) you can actually DOUBLE your online order purchase. Just use the code : DOUBLE when placing your order.
But wait, you can also WIN one of these nail kits and have clean healthy nails too! All you have to do is fill out the rafflecopter form below.

I make sure that I keep my nail file in my purse and hand moisturizer too. For those moments I may need them

As a former nail bitter, I make sure to always have a file on me. Also, moisturizing my hands and using a vitamin e gel on my cuticles at night.

I’m huge into my nails. I try to do nail art and perfect ombre nails. It’s practically the only thing I share on my Instagram.

I keep my nails in good shape by always adding JR Watkins Hand and Cuticle Salve to my cuticles in the am and pm and especially before I take a photo of them.

I use cuticle oil before bed (when I remember!) and I use a glass nail file instead of an emery board. Once you try a glass file, you’ll never go back!

Ah.. im the same. it takes a lot of patience to sit still with a toddler running around and waiting for my nails to dry. I hope I win this so that I can try this out.

I never got the whole idea of gel nails or putting on crystals and what not on your nails. I love the natural clean look best and you have great nails!

I have really thick nails so it’s important for me to have a heavy duty nail clipper and a really nice nail file to make sure I don’t have any chips 🙂
