I’m always on the hunt to find a perfect face oil. I like to use oil in the evening after washing my face because I feel that the oil really penetrates into my skin. I also find by using facial oil, I get less breakouts and my foundation goes on a lot smoother after leaving on the oil overnight.
The latest oil I tried is the Arctic Face Oil by skyn Iceland. This oil consists of 99.9% Camelina Oil and is naturally sourced and cold-pressed to retain maximum nutrients. Camelina Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, natural anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatories. There is also Vitamin E which helps with the skin’s elasticity, tone and texture. While the oil soothes and calms the skin, it also hydrates and helps repair the skin’s lipid barrier while locking in moisture.
This face oil has become my recent favorite because it is not heavily scented, it is very lightweight and it leaves my skin well hydrated without feeling oily. When I apply it after I’ve washed my face, I like spray some type of facial mist to lock in more moisture. If I have time, I will give myself a facial massage with this oil. (Check out this facial yoga routine). Not only does this massage feel awesome, it also really works in the oil. I wake up in the morning with a smoother complexion and a brighter tone. I should also note that this oil is great for your hair and cuticles too!

This oil sounds nice! I’m always looking for a good, fragrance-free face oil to try (especially with winter coming up). I’m a little confused at the price, though. This only contains Camelina oil, right? I feel I’ve seen that online for way cheaper. What am I missing?

Secondly, this looks interesting, I’ve never heard of it before but I’ve been recently looking for something that will hydrate my skin. Especially now that it’s winter, my skin gets dry way too quickly. Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to try this one out.
