{Shop for Good at Lucid Communications’ Summer Sample Sale}
On July 5th, from 12-8pm, you can shop Lucid’s summer sample sale and score products from some of our fave brands, many of which are local companies focused on creating sustainable products. The best part? You’re shopping for a good cause! 20% of all proceeds from the sale will go to Second Harvest, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving healthy food to Toronto’s homeless and less fortunate citizens.
About Second Havest
Founded in 1985, Second Harvest has grown to become the largest food rescue organization in Canada, providing the equivalent of 30,000 meals a day to Torontonians in need. Think your sample sale shopping won’t make a big difference? Think again. With each $5 donated, Second Harvest is able to rescue and deliver enough food for 10 meals. This food goes to social service agencies like food banks, community centres, homeless shelters, children’s breakfast programs, and health treatment centres.
