BEAUTY FEAUTRE: ArtDeco inspired by TALBOT RUNHOF

I’m always really excited when I discover a new to me beauty brand. When I was introduced to ArtDeco I was really impressed with the packaging and beautiful products in their Fall “Fashion Colours” collection which was inspired by the Talbot Runhof (German fashion duo Johnny Talbot & Adrian Runhof) Autumn/Winter 2013/2014 runway collection.

All the colours in this collection are beautiful but I have to say it’s the packaging and presentation of the collection that really won me over.

I have so many products in my arsenal that sometime they get lost in the bottomless pit of my makeup drawer. I love the blush couture compact – its pretty design called out to me.

So pretty right? This tri-colour blush is so complimentary to the skin tone. It’s great for everyday use and as a bonus it’s got Vitamin C & E giving it anti-aging properties.
The refillable magnetic “beauty box” for eye shadows is equally as beautiful as the blush compact.

Also part of the collection is this gorgeous ceramic nail lacquer.

This colour is called “peacock coquette“. Blue isn’t really my colour (for nails anyway) so I’m keeping my eyes peeled for “cherry blossom“.
One of my favourite items from this collection is the soft eye liner pencil. It’s waterproof too!

This pencil glided on the eyes so smoothly and was my saviour while I was in Florida where it was so humid.

I sadly can’t find the photos I took in Florida using the liner and the blush so I just redid them. I actually wear the blush almost daily and when I’m in the mood for something other than black liner the ArtDeco liner is my go to!
