I’ve grown to be a big fan of Pixi Beauty. I did a post about my current everyday favourites and Pixi Beauty eye crayons are STILL on my list! With the weather getting colder and the days getting darker I’m back to mostly using my black liner or navy too (like in my recent ArtDeco post) but when I’m just going to run some errands and want to look put together these pencils are still my go to’s.
The holiday times are the best times to get creative with makeup and when I heard about new holiday limited edition eye palettes from Pixi Beauty I knew right away I’d be checking them out.
The “Eye Alchemy” palette in Metallic Magic looks GORGEOUS! Look how many pretty colours are in this palette AND I’m actually loving the dual ended brush it comes with. I’m sorry but I HATE those sponge tip applicators that come in most shadow palettes. Does anyone actually use them? I think I’ve only used them to smudge or if I didn’t have a Q-tip on hand.
If you’re more into neutrals then this “Icy Palette” in Buff Blizzard might be more up your alley. It does come with the sponge applicator which I probably won’t use…unless someone can show me exactly how you’re supposed to use these other than just sweeping one colour across your lids. The size of this palette is also great for carrying around in a small clutch!
I actually think I’m most excited about this gloss kit: “Icy Lip Luster Kit – Snowbunny Glace”. Aren’t these so cute? I think I’m going to get these as gifts for my cousin and perhaps she can share with her daughter (if she’s allowed!). I love how there are two shimmer shades and two that look more opaque. Can’t wait til these come out!
