{Chanel Le Blanc and Les Sautoirs de Coco Makeup Collection}

We all want to retain that bright, youthful glow 365 days a year. With our busy lifestyles, sometimes it’s difficult to keep skin from looking tired and worn out. I was recently introduced to CHANEL LE BLANC SKINCARE and the LES SAUTOIRS DE COCO MAKEUP COLLECTION; products designed to brighten and even out imperfections, enhancing your natural beauty! Today I am going to share with you some of my absolute favorites!

LE BLANC LIGHT CREATOR BRIGHTENING MAKEUP BASE BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 40 SUNSCREEN

  • Brightens and evens out skin tone while boosting the hold of your makeup
  • SPF 40 sun protection
  • Lightweight texture

This product is not like anything that I have ever tried before.  The color I received is “Mimosa” which offers a natural, sheer glow for evening out complexions. It contains 2-year pearl extract to illuminate dull skin, licorice extract to brighten skin and correct dark spots, along with CHANEL’s exclusive Active Enlightening Ceramic – meant to blur out imperfections. It also has a hyaluronic acid derivative that brings an instant sense of hydration and comfort. Top that off with SPF 40 for sun protection and you have a lightweight, everyday secret beauty weapon that both nourishes your skin and keeps your makeup in place! This product does have a somewhat floral scent.  I found it quite pleasant, but the smell of something is all personal preference so I suggest that you try it out for yourself!

PERLES ET FANTAISIES

  • Illuminates your complexion in a few quick sweeps
  • Sheer and natural
  • Timeless, elegant packaging
  • Mirror and brush conveniently included
  • Limited Edition

This illuminator was created to reflect the strands of pearls that Gabrielle Chanel loved so much. At first glance it looks like a blush. Once you sweep your brush across the divinely sculpted pearls, dusting it on your cheekbones and places you want highlighted — you will notice it offers a barely there but gorgeous soft-diffused glow. I was in awe of how beautifully natural it was, but at the same time making such a difference in the way light reflects off of my face. What I really love about it is that it does all this, yet does not give your face a greasy look. In my experience, some highlighters are a little too shiny, and instead of simply making your face glow, it looks like you are sweating. With this illuminating powder that is not the case! I even applied some to the bridge of my nose and I simply cannot get enough of it. Throw in the elegant packaging and you cannot help but feel pampered and chic every time you use it.

LES 4 OMBRES

  • Smooth velvety-soft application
  • Metallic shades perfect for blending or small highlights
  • Timeless, elegant packaging
  • The neutral colors work well with various skin tones
  • Mirror included for touchups

These four shadows are described as “pearl” shades to give eyes the glimmer of the moonlight — and I cannot think of a better word to describe them. They do have a bit of a sparkle but not so shiny that they could not be worn to the office. The application is quite smooth and sheer. I used one of the lighter shades on my lids and the darker one in the crease. I then lined my eyes with my favorite eyeliner. For some suggestions check out this post from awhile back that gives a few suggestions on something long-wearing that gives a clean, precise line. Of course you then complete your eye look with a mascara that best suits your lashes! This palette adds such an air of romance to my daily beauty look, will it be part of yours?

ILLUSION D’OMBRE

  • Creamy and smooth application
  • A little goes a long way
  • Not drying
  • No creasing
  • Brush included
  • Has a beautiful light pink sheen when on your lids

This is my favorite product in the collection – which is saying a lot considering I love the rest of it! In the pot it looks like a frosty, white shadow. It was designed to embody the soft light of costume jewelry and pearls worn by Gabrielle Chanel.  Once applied (with the dainty little brush that is included) it boasts a delicate pink hue that I just cannot stop staring at. I used it to highlight my lid and the corners of my eyes by my nose. I do not know if I can even find the words to describe it, maybe enchanted sort of captures what I am trying to say? It reflects the light and gives the area it is applied to a soft, princess-like glow. It is also creamy, not drying and you only need to use a little bit. I also like how it does not crease as I am wearing it which is very important to me!

Illusion D’Ombre: 112 Iridescent $41

LEVRES SKINTILLANTES

  • Natural, in shiny with subtle sparkles
  • Fits perfectly into a purse or clutch
  • Looks fabulous when layered over a favorite lipstick or just on its own

I usually do not go this natural with lip gloss – but this is the perfect addition to such a natural, airy, fresh and glowing collection. I love the packaging, with the iconic Chanel logo on the top of the black lid. There are very tiny sparkles but it is mostly a clear gloss. I would definitely recommend putting a small dab in the middle of your lips over top of your favorite lip color. It adds some dimension and polishes off your pout. This would be perfect for day-to-day wear, as well as for a night out if you decided to play up your eyes with a smoky look and tone down your lips. It is quite hydrating and fits perfectly into my purse or small clutch!

Levres Skintillantes: 216 Clarite $36

  • Fresh nails for Spring! This was my first time getting a dip powder mani. It was so interesting! Apparently it’ll last about 3-4 weeks. I like that I didn’t have to cure the nails with a UV lamp, and that there was less filing than with biogel. I decided not to go with extensions today, but that’s an option as well. So far I’m a fan! Do you prefer shellac, bio-gel, dip, or natural nails? —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors #springmani #dippowdernails #dipmanicure #toronto #torontonails #torontopr #dipnails #nailinspo #bluenails #shortnails #opidippowder #organicnailbar #organicnailbarto #kingwest #freshnails #nailstagram #simplenails #nailsalon
  • Trying out @fentyskin’s Cookies & Clean Detox Face Mask! I love a good mask, and goodness knows my skin needs a bit of help nowadays! ➡️This is one of the products I featured in my blog post about Black-owned beauty brands. I love that it’s not too drying, makes my skin feel refreshed, is cruelty-free, and is part of the Clean at Sephora collection! Have you checked out anything from Fenty Beauty or Fenty Skin? —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors #blackownedbeauty #blackownedbusinesses #cleanskincare #fentyskin #cleanatsephora #claymask #charcoalmask #crueltyfree #crueltyfreeskincare #crueltyfreebeauty #torontopr #torontoblogger #selfcaresunday #skincareroutine #skincarejunkie #skincarelover #cleanskin

  • I got Botox! (Technically, I got Nuceiva, which is a different brand of neuromodulator, but does the same thing) I’ve been feeling uncomfortable with the fine lines on my forehead, and wanted to try out neuromodulators! It was easier and much less painful than I anticipated, but definitely was a bit of an emotional journey. ➡️ I got 24 units during this visit, at a cost of $11 each. (Cost will vary depending on brand of neuromodulator, the clinic you choose, and the person who does the treatment) ➡️ This treatment will probably last around 3 months, and then will
