Get Youthful Skin with Dr. Renaud Skin Care

After the age of 25, I was told that it is recommended to start combating signs of aging regardless of whether you have started seeing them or not. Now being a woman in my late 20’s, I am always on the lookout for interesting new ways to preserve that youthful glow; so I was excited to test out a few products from the Dr. Renaud skin care line!

Laboratoire Dr. Renaud was founded in France in 1947 by Dr. Louis Raymond Renaud, the first dermatologist to undertake skincare product research. The company prides itself in creating advanced skin care products without the use of synthetic colorants, mineral oil, or parabens. Also, none of the products are tested on animals – so you can be pampered, while being health conscious and ethical.

When I received the ExCellience VoluSculpt kit I could not wait to get started. It claims to be “the great restorer” and specifically targets changes to the facial architecture caused by loss of elasticity, muscle tone and density. It includes great natural ingredients such as Apple Stem Cell Extract, along with Argan Stem Cell Extract. Oh, and as a side note it smells fruity, fresh and amazing!

It is recommended for all skin types (even the most sensitive) and can be used as a cosmetic alternative to techniques aimed at correcting the loss of firmness and sagging of the skin; sure signs of aging.

Included with the serum is a nifty little roller that you roll across your perfectly cleansed skin in the morning, prior to application of the product. Then you apply two pumps of the serum to your face and decollete  and rub it in gently. It is suggested that you do this twice daily, for 35 days to achieve optimum results.

One thing that I love about the roller is it instantly gets your circulation going and it feels like a relaxing massage to your cheeks and forehead. Step by step instructions  are also included so you’ll know which areas to target. The entire process took me no more than two minutes! (I love the easy-to-follow diagram).

After I applied the serum, I dusted on the Loose Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 50 which should be applied 15 minutes before any sun exposure. The brush is attached to the powder itself. Using it for the first time I had to shake and dust a bit to get the powder to come to the edge of the brush. Once evenly coating my face in it, I must say that I was glowing! It is very, very natural looking with minimal coverage so it is not a product to be used to even out any major discoloration of the skin. My skin is fairly blemish free, with only some slight redness here and there so this product was perfect for that natural, barely-there  look. Reapply this every two hours if you are consistently out in the sun. It is not intended if you are in the water or sweating a lot – in that case use a water resistant sun screen! As a bonus, it contains powerful anti-oxidant ingredients so you can fight the signs of aging (aka wrinkles) at the same time.

The ExCellience VoluSculpt kit has a suggested retail price of $164.00 CAD and the Loose Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 50 (in light or dark) costs approximately $56.00 CAD.

All Dr. Renaud skin care products are available at aestheticians across Canada. To find one near you click here.

I am very happy to have discovered the world of Dr Renaud and look forward to being able to try out some more of his fabulous products this year.

Would you be curious to include these  Dr. Renaud skin care products into your daily routine?

  • Fresh nails for Spring! This was my first time getting a dip powder mani. It was so interesting! Apparently it’ll last about 3-4 weeks. I like that I didn’t have to cure the nails with a UV lamp, and that there was less filing than with biogel. I decided not to go with extensions today, but that’s an option as well. So far I’m a fan! Do you prefer shellac, bio-gel, dip, or natural nails? —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors #springmani #dippowdernails #dipmanicure #toronto #torontonails #torontopr #dipnails #nailinspo #bluenails #shortnails #opidippowder #organicnailbar #organicnailbarto #kingwest #freshnails #nailstagram #simplenails #nailsalon
  • I got Botox! (Technically, I got Nuceiva, which is a different brand of neuromodulator, but does the same thing) I’ve been feeling uncomfortable with the fine lines on my forehead, and wanted to try out neuromodulators! It was easier and much less painful than I anticipated, but definitely was a bit of an emotional journey. ➡️ I got 24 units during this visit, at a cost of $11 each. (Cost will vary depending on brand of neuromodulator, the clinic you choose, and the person who does the treatment) ➡️ This treatment will probably last around 3 months, and then will
